Mission and Ministry

As a Missionary Congregation we respond to diverse needs in the five Continents of the world (33 countries) creatively contributing to the promotion of humanity.

We are involved in five broad areas of ministry:

a.Evangelisation
b.Education
c.Pastoral and Nursing Care of the sick
d. welfare works with youth, migrants & refugees
d.Promotion of the laity
e.The Spiritual Exercises

Our particular focus is on women, children and youth. Through a variety of initiatives including welfare, pastoral assistance, life-skills and counselling, we are committed to the promotion of human dignity and self-esteem, justice and peace.

The changing needs of the times challenges us to continually review, reshape and re-commit ourselves to serving current needs in the spirit of St. Magdalen whose special concern was her "beloved Poor".

Wherever we are, and whatever we do, we are called to, not only make a difference, but through our lives, spread the message of love of the gospel: to offer the love of Jesus Crucified to all those we minister to, bringing them the life-giving Hope that leads to the resurrection.
